ABOUT
In its 5th edition, the Latin-American Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is
developed by the Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein in partnership with the
Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). The forum mission is to engage healthcare leaders and
professionals from several Latin-American countries in the discussion of key issues for the
transformation of the healthcare and development of a sustainable system, such as: healthcare
safety, patient experience, leadership, primary care, digital transformation, health equity, among
others.
On 10/14, the forum will have a programming dedicated to the Value-Based Healthcare theme, in which
participants will have the opportunity to discuss with national and international experts their
fundamental concepts, future perspectives and, through cases, how the Value Agenda has been
implemented in the world and in Latin America. Other pre-courses will bring theoretical and
practical activities on themes, such as Lean Six Sigma in Healthcare, Improvement Model, Psychology
of Change and Co-Design with Patients, Family and Collaborators, Artificial Intelligence & Big Data
and Design Thinking.
Also get to know the guided tour options at Hospital Israelita Albert Einsten, an opportunity to
know closely what makes the institution one of the most recognized ones in the world.
The forum also offers the opportunity to present scientific papers, networking with the leading
leaders and influencers of the health sector, exposition of success stories in Brazil and Latin
America, and much more!
