Thaís Galoppini Felix Borro

Ms. Borro holds a degree from Centro de Estudos Superiores de Londrina/ Pr (CESULON) and is a Cardiovascular specialist trained at Instituto Dante Pazzanesse de Cardiologia do Estado de São Paulo.

She is also a specialist in Quality Management in Healthcare Services trained at Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Israelita Albert Einstein.

She holds Lean Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt certifications in Lean Six Sigma methodology, as well as a Fellowship in Patient Safety from the IHI - Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

She has training as an Improvement Advisor from the IHI - Institute for Healthcare Improvement and is currently pursuing an MBA in Project Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.

Her experience comes from working in both public and private hospitals with critical patients (Adult Intensive Care Units and Adult and Pediatric Emergency Services), day clinic, home care (elective and urgent/emergency care). Has worked on the creation of policies and practices for various professionals, management of adverse events and care risk. She has developed strategic projects for patient safety and collaborative projects with a scope that includes processes, institutional and national policies. Works as a Patient Safety Project Manager.
