He is the Medical Director and Superintendent of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Currently, he is an Associate Professor and Lecturer at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo, as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine (Boston) and Adjunct Professor in the Executive MBA in Health Management of the Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, in partnership with the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
