José Mira is a professor at Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche and also serves in the Healthcare Department of Sant-Joan D'Alicant. He is a specialist in Social Healthcare Organization (1990) and Clinical Psychology (2003); former president of Sociedad Valenciana de Calidad Asistencial (SOVCA); co-editor of Revista Española de Calidad Asistencial; Associate editor of the ‘Quality, performance, safety and outcomes’ department at BMC Health Service Research.
