Professor Edson Amaro Jr is a neuroradiologist and head of the Big Data area at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein since its creation in 2016.
He holds a doctorate degree and “livre-docência” (Habilitation degree) from University of São Paulo (USP), and a postdoctoral degree from the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College Londonm and was responsible for the Israeli Albert Einstein Brain Institute from 2008 to 2012.
Currently, he is responsible for clinical (predictive and prescriptive analysis) and management (cost effectiveness and resource optimization) applications in projects at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and SUS (Unified Health System). He is the author / co-author of more than 200 scientific articles published in scientific journals.
