Volunteers
The Volunteer Department plays an extremely important role in Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein’s (SBIBAE) social initiatives. The Department engages 360 people who dedicate their time and knowledge to several activities spread across 47 sectors in Programa Einstein na Comunidade de Paraisópolis (Paraisópolis Community Program), Residencial Israelita Albert Einstein (Nursing Home) and Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE). The Volunteer Program is a model for entities all over the country and received ISO 9001:2000 certification since 2002. It was also awarded the Paribas de Cidadania Prize in 2007. This prize is awarded to distinguished individuals and entities that stand out because of their contribution to the country’s development.
