Advances in medicine are made through the development of knowledge and the diffusion of such knowledge creates quality medicine, accessible to an ever-growing number of people. Based on this premise, the Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa – IIEP - (Education and Research Institute) develops its activities and offers technical and professional qualification to students preparing them to exercise citizenship.

Technical school is an important part of the Instituto Israelita de Ensino e Pesquisa – IIEP - (Education and Research Institute) and it is part of the Centro de Educação em Saúde Abram Szajman (Health Education Center). It is a private teaching institution, sustained by SBIBAE that offers grants scholarships to students.

Clients

IIEP’s students are young, aged 18 to 30, and seek placement in the job market. About 80% possess a total family income equivalent to U$ 950.00/month. To continue their studies, 43% need full scholarships, 32% rely on their parent’s support and 26% can pay for their studies.

Currently 49% of registered students receive partial scholarships through a joint effort with Instituto Unibanco, the World Fund and Instituto Israelita de Responsabilidade Social (IIRS).
