Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Albert Einstein’s (SBIBAE) birth in the fifties was the result of a commitment made by the Jewish community to become reference in health care quality. Therefore, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE) was inaugurated in 1971, with resources originating from donations and the hard work of a group of dedicated individuals.

In 1957 a ceremony was held to receive Ema Gordon Klabin’s donation of the land where HIAE was built.

From then on it, SBIBAE became a reference for cutting-edge technological treatments and services offered with respect and quality. It then expanded its horizons onto social responsibility initiatives and education and research activities.

Clients

IIEP’s students are young, aged 18 to 30, and seek placement in the job market. About 80% possess a total family income equivalent to U$ 950.00/month. To continue their studies, 43% need full scholarships, 32% rely on their parent’s support and 26% can pay for their studies.

Currently 49% of registered students receive partial scholarships through a joint effort with Instituto Unibanco, the World Fund and Instituto Israelita de Responsabilidade Social (IIRS).
