Outstanding Quality
- In 1999, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE) was the first hospital in Latin America to be accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI), the most important international healthcare accreditation group. This accreditation is a sign of quality care and strong management.
- In 2003, HIAE was reaccredited by the JCI and in 2006 it became the first Latin American hospital to receive a third consecutive accreditation.
- In 2007, HIAE’s Stroke Center was the first in Latin America to receive JCI’s certification for specific diseases and conditions.
